Million Dollar Revelation
It’s been said that money is just zeros. The difference between $10 and $100 is that you simply ad another zero. This sort of thinking is helpful for those who have anxiety about making money, breaking it down into more easily digestible parts.
I was thinking about my own pursuit of extra zeros the other day and wondered when I would make my first million. I started to think about what kind of challenge that might be and how long it would take. Just as these thoughts started to take an every so slightly pessimistic turn, I made a startling realization.
I’ve already made a million dollars. In fact, I’ve made several million dollars! The only problem is, I didn’t make those millions for myself.
It may sound like saying I almost won the lottery because someone else won on the numbers I usually play, but it’s not. I have created and managed marketing campaigns that have produced millions in profits. What on Earth could keep me from doing it for myself? A product to sell? With a marketing track record like that, I am the product.
To say the least, this was a self esteem building event. I feel really good about what I’ve been doing and where I’m headed. The task of becoming rich doesn’t seem so hard anymore.
