The New Yahoo!
I just recently had my Yahoo! account upgraded to the new platform last week. The local reps had been by my office a few times to go over all the features, take feedback and get everyone ready for the change over. All the prep combined with ease of use has made for a very pleasurable experience so far.
The interface is attractive and easy to use, the bidding tools are helpful if you’re just looking to maximize traffic and the reporting is friendlier and easier to use. The only drawback has been the way my old account was converted over to the new format. Categories were made into campaigns, and ad groups seem to have been somewhat arbitrarily created and named.
All in all, I’m VERY excited about the new Yahoo! paid search platform. The old Overture UI was my big complaint with advertising on Yahoo!, so that’s already a huge plus, but we’ll have to wait and see how the new bidding model does. I’ll post an update on performance in a few weeks, so keep your fingers crossed!

Check out the new Import tool from Yahoo. If you save a Google bulk sheet in just the right format and upload it, Yahoo will take it and convert it right over to their system, rather than royally screwing everything up, like they did before.
Obviously, they poured resources into the development of this tool without realizing that Google was pulling the plug on bulk sheets, but whatever… For right this second, it’s cool.
